Maggie Grace is an American actress born Margaret Grace Denig in 1983. Her most well-known roles are Shannon Rutherford, a character from ABC's Lost series and Kim Mills from the Taken trilogy. Born in Worthington Ohio, she dropped out of high school and moved in Los Angeles with her mother when her parents separated. Though she struggled financially and in the beginning, she made her acting debut as Rachel's Room's primary character. In 2002 she was nominated to receive a Young Artist Award with her character as a 15 year old murder victim Martha Moxley. In 2004 Grace was selected to portray Shannon Rutherford in the television show Lost on which she was the main actor for the first two seasons. She was also awarded an Screen Actors Guild Award shared with the cast of the ensemble. The show ended in 2005 and Grace was keen to work as a film actress, and had been cast as the opposite of Tom Welling in The Fog in 2005. The actress has also appeared as Kim Mills in Suburban Girl The Jane Austen Book Club and in 2007 as well as in Taken alongside Liam Neeson in 2008 as Kim Mills. Her role was reprised as Kim Mills in Taken 2 (2011) and Taken 3 (2013).She also played Alice in Malice in Wonderland, a modern adaptation to the Lewis Carroll novel Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. Grace played Shannon again in Lost's finale and in two additional episodes. Grace was a part of the show's sixth season that aired from 2013 to 2014. The character she plays is Faith who's a star-gazer and groupie. Hank Moody, played by David Duchovny, falls for her.
